006askphNow in my second year, I had experienced my fair share of what awesome things UCI had to offer but being in the less than entertainment city of Irvine, the campus was getting a bad reputation for being boring. ASUCI really does some great things for the campus and for the students so for the Welcome Week issue that brings students up to date during the first week of school, this article was to showcase there really was entertainment the campus had to offer.

On-Campus Entertainment Exists!

On the outskirts of the City of Irvine, amidst the corporate headquarters of many major companies and just a block down from Newport Beach, lies UCI.

With peaceful surroundings, clean, ocean air and the beach minutes away – literarily – one has the ideal environment for any study session. But, on the surface of it all, there is more life at UCI than meets the eye.
